White Chocolate Blondies – The Rose Desk

For those who’re in search of the BEST blondies you’ve ever eaten, maintain studying.

Let me begin off by saying that I really like any recipe that includes melted butter as a substitute of softened butter. This batter takes mere minutes to make and also you don’t even want a mixer. It’s a spoon-and-bowl state of affairs.

I created these beauties for my Depraved Ball, impressed by the tune “What’s This Feeling” when Elphaba says, “BLONDE!” How may I resist?

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup packed darkish brown sugar
1 egg, calmly overwhelmed
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup white chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350 levels. Line an 8” sq. pan with parchment paper. Spray calmly with nonstick cooking spray. 
  2. In a big bowl, stir collectively melted butter and brown sugar till clean. Whisk in egg and vanilla. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt and stir simply till mixed. 
  3. Unfold batter into ready pan. Bake for 25-28 minutes or till a toothpick inserted within the heart comes out with a couple of moist crumbs.
  4. Cool for 20 minutes, then carry the blondies out of the pan. Set on a wire rack and funky fully earlier than reducing.
