Beef Burger
The seasonings give these burgers a wonderful aroma and a nice kick. We like them served with a generous dollop of prepared horseradish.

INGREDIENTS
MAKES 6 BURGERS
- 2 pounds ground beef sirloin ¼ cup minced shallots
- 3 tablespoons whole-grain Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves
- 1½ teaspoons coarsely ground black pepper ¼ teaspoon salt
INSTRUCTION
- Blend all the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl, making sure your hands spread the seasoning evenly through the meat.
- Shape into 6 patties, each 1 inch thick.
- Lightly oil the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the burgers to the desired degree of doneness, 6 to 8 minutes per side for medium.
