Mikey’s Smash is all about protecting issues easy with basic smash burgers. I went with the basic possibility: a single patty topped with American cheese, their secret sauce, specialty onions, pickles, lettuce, and tomato, all sandwiched between a brioche bun.

The burger itself was spectacular. The patty was cooked excellent, with crispy edges that gave it a pleasant chew, and the seasoning was on level. The combo of toppings introduced a superb steadiness of flavours – sharp pickles, contemporary veggies, and a creamy secret sauce that tied all the things collectively. One minor hiccup: the brioche bun was a bit greasy on the surface. It didn’t take away from the flavour, but it surely’s one thing you discover as you are taking your first chew.
