Cajun Creole Burger Recipe

The “Cajun Creole Burger” is a flavorful burger inspired by the spicy and rich flavors of Cajun and Creole cuisine. Here’s how to make this delicious burger:

Ingredients:

For the Burger Patties:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Cajun Remoulade Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Creole or whole-grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For Assembling:

  • 4 hamburger buns (preferably with a sturdy texture)
  • Sliced andouille sausage (cooked)
  • Sliced red onion
  • Sliced pickles
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes

Instructions:

    Prepare the Cajun Remoulade Sauce:

  1. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Creole or whole-grain mustard, hot sauce, minced garlic, chopped green onion, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
